The Karnataka public service commission (KPSC) Notification is released now for,
1. The Post of gazetted probationers.
2. The Post of Assistant Controller in Karnataka state audit and Accounts department (Resident parent cadre).
3. The Post of Assistant Controller in Karnataka State Audit and Accounts department (Hyderabad Karnataka).
4. The Post of Assistant in Office of the Resident Commissioner, Karnataka Bhavan, New Delhi.
5. The Post of Assistant/ First division Assistant HK 2019-20
6. The Post of Assistant/ First division Assistant RPC 2019-20
IMPORTANT DATES :
1. Online application starts on- 6/02/2020.
2. Online application ends on – 6/03/2020.
3. Payment process ends on – 7/03/2020.
4. Prelims exam on – 24/05/2020
5. Mains exam on – (2020- August or September).

APPLICATION FEE DETILES:-
PRELIMS EXAM :
1. General Category – Rs 300
2. 2(A), 2(B), 3(A), 3(B) Categories – Rs 150
3. SC/ST, Category 1 and PH – Exempted from application fees.
Mains Exam :
1.SC/ST , Category 1 and PH – Rs 300
2. General and other categories – Rs 500.
AGE DETILES:
Minimum – 21 yr
Maximum ,
1.General Merit Students – 35yr
2. Category 2A,2B,3A,3B Students – 38yr
3. SC/ST And Category 1 – 40yr
KPSC KAS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
1. Candidates must have at least a bachelors degree from a recognized university.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old
KPSC – KAS SELECTION PROCESS :-
The KPSC KAS selection process involves three stages,
1. Prelims
2. Mains
3. Interview
Prelims:
KPSC KAS Prelims has two papers both of which are objective in nature comprising multiple choice questions.

The total time duration is 2 hours and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
KPSC KAS MAINS EXAM PATTERN
Qualified candidates from Prelims, the number of which doesn’t usually exceed 20 times the number of vacancies, are eligible to appear for the Main exam.
Here are a few important points to note about KPSC KAS Mains exam:
1. The KAS Main exam is Descriptive in nature with essay-type questions asked.
2. KAS Mains has 9 papers – 2 qualifying papers, 4 general papers and 2 optional papers.
3. You can choose to answer these papers in either Kannada or English.
4. The total marks for the KAS Mains comes to 1750.
KPSC KAS Qualifying Papers: Kannada & English
These papers are compulsory and you need to score at least 35 % marks in them to clear the Mains. Candidates will be exempted from clearing the Kannada Language exam, if they:
(1) Had Kannada as the main language or second language at Class 10 or a higher exam
